They just don’t get much better than this when it comes to finding a classic Mercedes-Benz coupe.

This 1967 Mercedes Benz 250SE has remained in the hands of its original owner since it first rolled off a Beverly Hills dealership new with only 77,000 original miles on the odometer. The Mercedes is being auctioned by Bring a Trailer with a current, coming-down-to-the-wire bid of $31,200. It’s completely stock including the original interior that’s as pristine as the exterior.

In 2014, the Mercedes was painted in its original metallic gold and also got a few other needed body repairs, which apparently wasn’t much.

The 250SE is powered by a 2.5 liter straight-six-cylinder engine that has been completely overhauled to produce 150 horsepower and a top speed of 120 mph. But I can’t imagine anyone buying this beauty for speed. A vintage Mercedes like this should be reserved for occasional weekend outings where it can soak in some of the spotlight deserving of a classic piece this clean.
