2011 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG: A Fusion of Elegance and Brawn

Changing the engine from a naturally aspirated 6.2 liter V8 to a direct injection, twin-turbo 5.5 liter V8 has not really affected the powerful image of the Mercedes CL63 AMG. The regular version gets 544 HP and 590 pound-feet of torque. If the client chooses to get the AMG Performance Package, it would boost the numbers to 571 hp and 664 lb-ft. Although the car is powerful, that doesn’t come with a higher fuel price, either: at 22 accumulated miles per gallon with the aid of stop/start and the AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed sport transmission, the new model is recorded to have a 25 percent increase in fuel economy in contrast to the 6.2 liter automobile.

The AMG Performance Package also include a double-spoke wheels in titanium gray, extra carbon fiber trim beneath the hood and in the cabin. Additional features also include a leather and Alcantara steering wheel. The car also clocks at 4.4 second at 0-60 time, but without the package, it would go at around 4.5 seconds.

Keeping the car composed while on the streets are crosswind stabilization on top of the Active Body Control, Direct Steer and Torque Vectoring Braking, which would also brake inside the wheel when needed, to keep the car stable while on curves. If its clients are searching for a bit of green, the vehicle also includes a regenerative braking.
