2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Wagon Spy Shots
I’ll admit it. This excites me. We’ve come a long long way from the days of wood paneling, floppy handling, and Ghostbusters into a bright future – but it’s still uncertain. I’m talking about a future where wagons and proper ‘Estate’ variants are steadily being replaced one at a time with niche market crossovers, GT’s, mini-SUV’s. It’s a soul-less, commercially driven practice and that’s why these spy shots of the upcoming 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate excite me.
The MB will be launching their new C-Class next year – once again with various bodystyles including this potential utilitarian beauty, another coupe, and a new convertible. The wagon should be hitting showrooms a bit after the C-Class sedan launches, which is next fall, as a 2015 model.
And here’s the sad part. We actually won’t get the C-Class wagon in the U.S. Or rather, that’s the speculation. The automaker already offers an E-Class wagon stateside, and the low sales numbers will definitely make it hard to justify launching a second estate model.
At least BMW’s answered the call for estates with this beauty here. …. right.
With these official renderings for the C-Class variants here, it does appear the spy shots are right on the money.
