God, you’ve got to love AMG. For all the lunatics that take their $100,000 super sedan to the arena of the drag strip, I commend you. It’s a little bit like a professional boxer showing up to your friendly, local, underground fight club (where everyone else is juiced on steroids). I can’t say it’s in it’s element… But it’ll do for the most part.
It’s a tank, for sure, but that tanky-ness just makes it’s speed ever more considerable. Even without launch control, the Mercedes is trapping 11s. Theoretically, you could be getting a heated massage while listening to Haydn’s trumpet concerto through the E-Class’ 15 speakers and do 120mph in less than 12 seconds. That my friends, is luxury.
