Huayra 22 597x397 Pagani Huayra Set to Invade the US

Although the US has been ignored by many supercar manufacturers, the most recent supercar model is set to hit American shores this year. That’s because the Pagani Huayra will surely be coming to the US sometime before the end of 2011.

That piece of information has been confirmed by Italian sports car and carbon fiber manufacturer Pagani earlier this week. With this, the Huayra will be the first-ever Pagani vehicle available for US consumption.

“We are thrilled at the opportunity to represent the Pagani brand in the United States and we look forward to the successful launch of the Huayra,” said Horacio Pagani, who founded the company back in 1992. “This automobile is the result of five years of dedicated effort from the Pagani team and we see this as an unprecedented opportunity to continue expanding our vision of the future for the supercar industry.”

Pulsing with the life provided by the 6.0-liter AMG V12 twin turbo engine, the Huayra produces a whopping 700 horsepower. There’s no word yet about pricing. Expect a full barrage of details to come out within a month or so.
