Part of the blame for this rush towards the A-Class likely has to do with the popularity of the B-Class. That car is far and away Mercedes best selling product in Europe and, really, across the world. That the B-Class (and now the A-Class) is successful speaks to the quality of the platform. And to think, this is all before either one these models have made their way to US shores.
It’s worth noting that Mercedes isn’t stopping with the A-Class. They also have the CLA 4 door coupe, the GLA small SUV, and the A45 AMG in the works too. If there’s anything you can be certain of, it’s that they’re not screwing around when it comes to being the number one luxury automaker once more. Audi and BMW need to watch out.
