A45 AMG Caught Scooting Around the Nurburgring
Mercedes’ forthcoming pint-sized powerhouse was seen making it’s rounds about the Nurburgring earlier this week. The svelt hatch is almost completely lacking in camouflage. It looks… pretty much like the normal A-Class. We imagine the most notable styling changes will appear in the front and rear bumpers when it heads to production.

The A45 AMG is a new breed of car for AMG. It’s a 2.0L turbo engine which is a bit smaller than the 6.2L V8’s AMG has perfected over the years. Despite that, the A45 should make between 330-340hp and 295 ft-lbs of torque. That’s not quite C63 AMG power, but it is a helluva lot for a small car like the A-Class.
