The 560 SEC 6.0 AMG Wide Body was one of the first very rare AMG cars ever built. Only 50 cars are believed to have been built by AMG, and few of those still remain intact.

The car featured a 6.0-liter bored out V8 engine, and a custom quad-cam head featuring four valves per cylinder. Horsepower for the big coupe was pegged to be around 385, which by today’s standards, isn’t a lot, but in the ’80s, when cars were barely making 200 horsepower, almost 400 was plenty.

Originally, the car cost $200,000, but this pristine 1989 example is set to cross the auction block, and according to RM Sotheby’s, it’s only estimated to fetch around $100,000-$150,000. Its fairly low price tag may have something to do with the rather sizable odometer reading of 56,000. This particular car is number 28 of the supposed 50-car run.

So what do you guys think, would you spend around $150,000 for this beautiful AMG GT S precursor?
