C63 AMG Wagon With Straight Pipes Sounds Heavenly
If you know the name Monky London, you are familiar with the types of shenanigans that are about to take place. This plucky Brit loves his cars fast and loud, and he is the proud owner of a C63 AMG Estate. Despite being one of the best motors ever created, Monky feels like his 6.2-liter V8 could use a touch of work, so he heads off to have a new exhaust installed and get a tune.
The video below starts off a bit boring, but jump to about 2:34 when he is actually at the MSL Performance shop to get the good stuff. We get a walk around of an SL Black Edition that is getting some bigger turbos fitted to its V12 engine, with power output estimated to reach nearly 800 ponies. From there we get a chance to hear and ride along with one of the owners of MSL in his C63, which has been straight-piped. The noise is glorious, but the foul weather and public streets mean no serious speeds are achieved.
Finally we get back to Monky’s car, which has a new straight-pipe exhaust and tune. The result is 562 horsepower and lots of fire and noise. He takes us out for a quick evening run after the change, and the sound that comes from that V8 is earth shattering. Turn those speakers up and enjoy.
