C63 S Gets a Massive Boost From Performmaster

The new Mercedes AMG C63 S is a hammer of epic proportions. It’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 makes 510 horsepower and all the torque imaginable. Seriously, driving this car is like driving through a wormhole and coming out the other side terrified, and slightly older. However, there are those that want more power in the super sedan, and the folks at Performmaster have answered those calls with a lot more horsepower.

Performmaster played with the AMG’s ECU, and through just a reflash, they gave the new C63 S 612 horsepower, and boosted the torque to 620lb-ft. That, in a sedan the size of the C63 S, is just lunacy, but it’s the kind of lunacy we can get behind. According to Performmaster, the car’s new top speed is now 192 miles per hour. Acceleration to 60 miles per hour has also been cut by.3 seconds, and by 1.3 seconds when galloping to 124 miles per hour.

Additionally, the tuner gave the C63 S a whole new look with some killer new body panels. Now here’s the question: how stressed is the engine? And will those turbos blow up if put under too much boost?
