C63 AMG Roars Around the Track
That sound. Every time he hits the go pedal it’s like an angel gargles… Right before it turns into an outright roar. It’s easy to forget that Mercedes’ can be so raw because their street cars, while powerful, are demure. But when they hit the track… Achtung!
This particular C63 is racing in Italy’s Superstars touring series. Spec wise, the series is similar to the V8 supercar series in Australia or the DTM racing series in Germany. But those series lack the diversity of they have in Italy. Mercedes, Maserati, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, and even a Lexus are competing this year. Fans of road racing with a taste for variety would do well to check it out.
