When the 670-horsepower C63 AMG’s tires hit the Russian dragstrip, it whooped the asses of a 700-hp Corvette Z06, a 700-pony BMW F10 M5 and an 830-horsepower Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG.

We’ve been waiting to see the new C63 in the flesh. The combination of a detuned AMG GT engine and a proper RWD platform just ooze awesomeness. Now that it has debuted to the public at the Paris Motor Show, we can show you a few more details.

The owner was testing out a new tune and exhaust system when it seems the straps went loose and the car almost shook itself off the rig.

Honestly, you could eat off the hood of this car … that is if you managed to get anywhere near it with anything resembling food or drink. Something tells me Simon keeps a close eye on it, and with it being that clean, a crew of detailers is likely close by anyway.

The car in the photos doesn’t look enough like a racecar. This specific car needs to be lowered with a widebody kit, and the rims need to be changed out for something a bit darker in color. Add all that, and the white lettering would look fantastic.

This video was taken at a European Gumball meet. The driver of the lovely C63 saw the Audi RS4 Avant shoot off and decided he would do the same thing. Here’s the problem: The Audi is all-wheel drive. The Merc isn’t.
