Reports have emerged that Mercedes-Benz is working on a coupe version of their GL model SUV. Mercedes has already affirmed that they’re building more new. Production of the new GLC is set to start in 2016. It will be a five-door crossover SUV featuring an angled roof similar to the one featured on the BMW X6. However, the new vehicle will not compete with the BMW vehicle.

Mercedes-Benz just revealed this new illuminated Three-Pointed Star grille emblem, available as a dealer-installed option on the 2014 E-Class, 2013+ GL-Class, 2012+ M-Class and 2006+ CLS-Class. Photo credit: Motorauthority The newest version of Mercedes’ GL-Class will be officially showing it’s face at the NYC autoshow later this year, according to Car and Driver Magazine. Spy shots have already uncovered the new 2013 GL romping around in the snow last month, but New York will give us an honest look.

By Marcus SlaterMBWorld Mercedes was caught playing in the snow with updated models for their A and GL class model lines. The both cars were wearing black cladding that covered up most of the interesting bits, but we can still speculate.
