Sometimes, the best auto journalists are you guys, the people in the forum that actually make enough money to buy the models we writers desire. We test the cars, but we usually do so over such a short period of time that it’s difficult to discover the true nature and character of each vehicle. Thankfully, we have dudes such as StanNH in the forum. After the jump, find out more about his long-term review of his 2015 C300.
I get the feeling that when Autoblog tested the Mercedes-Benz S550 Coupe, the Billy Joel song “Just the Way You Are” was playing through its speakers. In the site’s review of the S63 AMG Coupe, it basically tells the less-powerful two-door, “Don’t go changing to try and please me.” Autoblog seems to love it just the way it is. That’s not to say the publication hates the S63, though. See what I mean after the jump.
The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG is a big, heavy, and above all else, hugely powerful sedan meant for blasting down the autobahn. However, with the new Hellcat contending for the same spot as the E63, can the seasoned veteran still compete on the same level as the new kid on the block for a king’s title among powerful sedans?

If you compare the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 coupe with the Audi RS 5 solely on the basis of name length, the Mercedes wins by a mile. If you compare both cars in their totality, things become more complicated. You may like the C63 more than the RS 5, but does it beat the […]
In years past, family truckster duties were handled by vehicles such as the affordable Chevrolet Suburban and the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Mercedes has had just such a rig on the market for a much shorter time: the GL-Class. Motor Trend recently made one its long-term test vehicle. It ended up being loaded in more ways […]
So you’ve got $68,225 set aside to buy you years of top-down motoring. But you don’t want to test-drive a convertible in these frigid winter temperatures. Lucky for you, the crew at Autoblog braved the elements to evaluate the Mercedes-Benz E550 Cabriolet. Autoblog has even saved you trouble of deciding which color to pick. The […]
Opt for the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG S 4MATIC over the E63 AMG S 4MATIC and you’ll lose 2 inches of headroom in the back seat … you’ll also lose $6,730 … depending on who you are, that can be a bad night in Vegas, or a bad night in a back seat anywhere in the world. Size […]
Dec. 25 came and went several weeks ago, but, recently, AutoBlog’s Steven J. Ewing probably felt as if it was Christmas morning every time he stepped out his front door and saw a Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG waiting for him. No matter the timing, it must have been because he was a good boy last year. […]
