Custom Mercedes-Benz interiors just don’t get much sweeter than this. Then again, the kind of breathtaking work put into this 1990 Mercedes-Benz G-Class G463 has become a trademark for Poland-based Carlex Design.

This latest display of the company’s detailed craftsmanship includes a retro ‘Benz finish that makes some modern interiors look like child’s play, as showcased in a recent Car Scoops report.

Some of the specifics include a complete leather redo, a brown velvety nubuck for the headliner, and a clever use of wood. Although, it’s definitely the way the leather was used to upfit the interior that strikes you most. Carlex has even managed to integrate the leather treatment into the air vents, which suggests that it probably has been treated to handle various temperatures as well.

There’s no mention of the actual price for the work. But we imagine that it’s a lot more expensive than the typical trim options on a G-Wagon. How much would you pay for such luxury?
