There’s nothing wrong with a little bit of sibling rivalry, right? Mercedes’ A45 AMG is the latest addition to AMG’s stable. It’s also the first major departure from AMG’s tried-and-true method of stuffing huge V8s into everything. The CLS on the other hand, is a battle ship. It’s packing over 500 horsepower and probably weighs about as much as 5 actual horses. At least it does compared to the A45.
Even then, you’d imagine that the wagon should be able to walk away from the AMG A-Class with ease. Not so. See how this hot hatch hold up against it’s bigger brother in the video below.
