First Look: All New E63 AMG Spy Shots
The current generation E63 AMG is a brilliant car. It’s 5.5L twin-turbo V8 engine pumps out a metric ton of torque and power, and gets the big sedan to 60mph in absurd times. However, as with all good things, there always has to be an end, and the current generation E-Class is set for the chopping block. But never fear, you AMG tire shredding loyalists will have a replacement for the E-Class AMG very soon.
Our spy photographers caught the new E63 AMG testing, and although the body is wrapped in the standard spy camouflage livery, there are some subtle hints at just what the new E63 AMG will look like. As you can tell by the front-end of the car, the new E63 AMG will adopt Mercedes’ new global design language that has been rolled out on what seems like everything but the E-Class. It features a much more rounded body, something that’s a big departure from the outgoing model series. The new E63 AMG also looks a bit bigger than its outgoing predecessor, making room for more luxury in this luxury muscle car.
Thankfully, the new E-Class is set to make its big debut sometime in the next few months, meaning that the new E63 AMG will debut shortly after that. But what do you think of what we can see so far? Sound off in the comments below.
