G63 vs. Tesla Model S Drag Race
There seems to be a trend in drag racing where people put their super-powerful combustion-powered cars against the Tesla Model S P85. There has been a stream of contenders battling the electric-powered sedan, and all have lost.
But what happens when you put the future up against a real dinosaur — a vehicle that hasn’t been truly changed since 1979? What happens when you put it up against a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG?
First, though, let’s knock out some numbers. The Tesla P85 has 470 horsepower, while the G63 has 536 horsepower. The two vehicles weigh 4,600 lbs and 5,600 lbs., respectively. The Tesla should have it, but then again, the G63 has almost 100 extra horsepower. How about we find out what happens?
