GET TO DA UNIMOG!
GET TO DA CHOPPA! Oh wait, that’s not right, let me try that again. GET TO DA UNIMOG!! Yeah, that’s better. For those of you completely lost at what I just said, ze Austrian better known as Arnold Schwarzenegger is a big fan of military-grade vehicles. He owns a military-spec Humvee for the hell of it, and he owns a 1977 Mercedes Unimog, the latter of which is for sale on a German website for $270,000.
The Unimog is supposedly street-legal in the U.S., but as of right now, the truck is in Gaggenau, Germany, so it would be up to you to bring it back to the States, and deal with all the hassle of the U.S. importation laws. Then again, you could say you have “the Arnold’s” Unimog, thus rendering you a certifiable badass.
The truck has a 6.4L turbo-diesel I6 and has all the accoutrements of a 1977 German military vehicle, so you get hard plastic galore, and a fully functional dash. That’s about it, but you do get a wonderful Arnold signature directly above the HVAC controls.
