Pro Golfer Rickie Fowler Gets an AMG GT S
These days, supercars are kind of ubiquitous, meaning, just about everyone sports star or celebrity has one. That in itself isn’t technically a bad thing, since we all get to marvel in the glory that is a supercar on a daily basis. However, it seems that the market is so saturated with them, that whenever a new celebrity gets one, it doesn’t really matter.
Take for instance golfing star, Rickie Fowler. First of all, yes, golfing star. Even though I’ve never heard of him, I’m assured that though he’s only 26, he’s quite famous within the golfing community. It seems that Fowler, with help from Mercedes, gets to take an AMG GT while the U.S. Open is going on up in Washington state this week.
But honestly, does it really matter anymore? Everyone and their mother has a supercar. Lil Wayne bought his daughter a Ferrari 599GTO. And these AMG GTs can’t seem to stay on the shelf. Are we reaching peak supercar saturation?
