Hamann Tuned SLS AMG Roars Through Monaco
Monaco should just be renamed, “Loud Exhaust Land,” for its status as the supercar capitol of the world. Between Paganis, Koenigseggs, and McLarens, you can’t step three feet into the country without hitting some form of supercar with a tuned exhaust. Today is no different. However, instead of the usual V10 and V12 monsters that we often see, today we have a proper V8 that absolutely howls as it enters the famous Formula 1 tunnel in Monaco.
What we have here is a Mercedes SLS AMG tuned by Hamann. Besides a new, louder exhaust, Hamann gave the 6.2-liter V8 powered supercar more horsepower, so it now totals 627! That means the SLS AMG can now hit 62 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds and go on to hit 199 miles per hour. But honestly, all that extra grunt is secondary to the insanely ridiculous exhaust noise.
It sounds like the Gods of Lightning and Thunder are gargling boulders and whiskey to produce a soundtrack that will make you weep.
