Hell Hath No Fury like a 900-Horsepower CLS63 AMG Scorned

MBWorld forum members are calling this Benz’s bluff. Drake at DLMphotos, the person who posted this video to YouTube, claims this Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG is blowing 900 horsepower out its ass end. The guys on the forum believe the so-called “900 horsepower” is “Internet horsepower”. Do the Internet Math, and that converts to 650 real-world horsepower … maybe 700 if the barometric pressure is right, and the driver has a bean-and-cheese burrito fermenting in the large intestine.

NOTE: Internet Math is a conversion algorithm inspired by Adam Carolla’s “Radio Math”, which multiplies the declared weight and height of individuals who call in to radio shows, usually by a factor of 0.82 and 0.91, respectively. 

Whether we’re talking about 900 horsepower or 650 horsepower after Internet Math, we’re still talking about a stampede of ponies. When this CLS63 lets those ponies loose, it can barely stay straight. Seeing a big Benz behave like a gutted 240Z with a supercharged LS3 stuffed between the fenders never gets old.
