The Kleemann E63 AMG is Dutch for “Holy Crap”

The Dutch are known for their silly little shoes, their love of herring, windmills, and for legal weed. They aren’t usually known for their cars, but that’s all about to change … and we really should’ve been paying attention.

This E63 AMG is from Dutch tuning house Kleemann. The company specializes in Mercedes-Benz, and they are utter perfectionists with the cars they build. Right now the company is only offering three packages: one for the outgoing W204 C63 AMG, another for the SLS AMG that adds the lunacy of a supercharger, and the K4 package, which is for the E63 AMG pictured above.

Kleemann modified the turbos, upgraded the ECU, added a better flowing exhaust system, increased the size of the intercoolers, and did a whole host of other subtle changes. The effect? 850 horsepower, and 970 lb-ft of torque, or rather, enough torque to shred the tires to ash in about two seconds flat.

All that power and torque is just being sent to the rear wheels. Oh, how I pity that abused rubber. Everyone really needs to start paying attention to the Dutch, and not just because they sell pot brownies.
