For all the high-tech safety equipment that Mercedes packs into their E-Class, they can’t quite seem to out engineer stupid. I mean, most people have forgotten to pull up the parking brake at some point, I get that. However, most people realize their error before getting out of the car. Here’s what happens when that epiphany comes about 10-seconds too late.

Luckily there’s no real damage besides a bonk on the head and a healthy dose of embarrassment. I presume the car stopped when it ran into a fence or something. Unless, of course, the E-Class can stop itself when it rolls away without a driver. Now that would be real ESP.
