Lewis Hamilton Rides With the RAF UPDATE Full Video

This weekend the British Grand Prix takes place at the famous Silverstone circuit. The circuit is said to have the highest average speed out of any on the Formula 1 calendar. The track’s beauty is  highlighted at the Becketts complex that leads onto the Hangar Straight. It’s called the Hangar Straight because in World War II the Silverstone circuit was an airfield for the RAF and other Allied fighter planes.

It comes as no surprise that the Mercedes-Benz factory team has some great promotional video in the works for this weekend. A few weeks ago we spotted Lewis Hamilton rubbing elbows with Sir Stirling Moss and his W196. Now there’s a trailer for Lewis Hamilton catching a ride with British Royal Air Force’s Red Arrows.

From the trailer, it also looks like there will a race down and back a runway with Lewis pitted against the RAF.

Can’t wait til Sunday for the race and the rest of the videos by Mercedes-Benz. Though, I hope Hammy keeps it together in the plane.
