Mansory Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² Looks Unnatural

The hate for Mansory flows heavily on the internet. The kits the German aftermarket company builds for luxury vehicles are nothing short of outlandish. They like wild colors; they absolutely love carbon fiber; and they clearly don’t care what popular opinion thinks about what looks good or bad. Which, to a degree, is endearing. There’s nothing wrong with blocking out the haters and doing what you want. That mentality was clearly guiding Mansory’s most recent build on the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² .

In the headline for this post, I mention that the final results look unnatural, and that is directly related to the color. G-Wagens aren’t typically wearing bright or pastel colors like this sky blue. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I saw a G-Class that wasn’t black, white, gray, or some matte variation of one of those three. But, as with everything, it’s all a matter of opinion, and that was proven when I showed my girlfriend, and she responded with, “is it bad I kind of like it?”

Aside from the color scheme, Mansory put carbon everywhere. It’s on the hood, front spoiler, front wheel arches, mirror housings, door handles, trim, roof spoiler, rear apron, and rear panels. And that’s not including the interior. The headlights are also Mansory. And performance-wise, Mansory added a Powerbox and a new exhaust, which combine to boost horsepower by 63.

So, what do you think? Would you rock a sky blue G-Wagen?
