Mercedes-Benz’ Triple Victory at the Automotive Brand Contest 2011

Mercedes-Benz vehicles are undoubtedly the best designed vehicles in the market. This was proven yet again when the company bagged three first place awards at the 2011 Automotive Brand Contest.

The first award is to the Mercedes-Benz design team, they got the
“Team of the Year”. Then, the Mercedes-Benz CLS‘ exterior got the “Best
of the Best” award. The last award is for the “Best of the Best” in the
Concept and Study category, which the Concept A-Class Interior took
home.

The Automotive Brand Contest is the first international design and
brand contest for the automotive industry. The competition looks at
brand communication, brand management and design solely for the
industry. It was formed in 1953 and launched the Design Council, which
aims to press on branding and design to help in the success of the
automotive sector.

The awards will be presented on September 13 at the International Automobile Exhibition in Frankfurt.
