You know the Mercedes-AMG GT S is fast, but do you really know how fast?

To find out, YouCar lined up the new GT S on a runway with a Lexus RC F on one side and an Aston Martin N430 Vantage on the other. The Mercedes-Benz does have the horsepower advantage with 503 ponies under the hood compared with the 430 of the Aston Martin and the 467 of the Lexus, but when you throw weights into the battle, the Aston takes the upper hand. On paper it seems like it could be anyone’s race.

But then the flag drops and hilarity ensues. The race is not even slightly close. By the time the ¼ mile rolls around, the AMG is well ahead. The actual race distance is 2 km, but except for the first few hundred feet, neither the Aston nor the Lexus have the slightest chance of victory.

I know I ruined the winner, but I promise it’s worth a watch just to laugh at how maniacally fast the AMG GT S is compared to a pair of its “rivals.” Now press play, and get ready to giggle.
