Mercedes-Benz GLS63 AMG Spied Testing Outside Nurburgring

Mercedes-Benz’s upcoming large SUV class, the newly-named GLS, has been captured testing for the first time in AMG form, just outside of the Nurburgring.

This GLS63 AMG is getting a slight face-lift as it replaces the outgoing GL63 AMG. The usual AMG goodies are present, including an aggressive front bumper with large air intakes and restyled side skirts and rear fascia.

Like the rest of Mercedes-Benz’s mid-cycle updates, the engine will remain largely untouched, featuring the same 550 horsepower from its 5.5-liter turbocharged V8.

Look for the GLS63 AMG and the full GLS lineup to start hitting the auto show circuit soon.
