Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG vs. E92 BMW M3
There’s just something about a naturally aspirated V8 that sends tingles down everyone’s spines. I’m not sure why or how it happens, but it just makes everyone who hears it go crazy. It also helps if the car’s exhaust has been modified to make it even louder.
Today we are bringing you yet another wonderfully crazy-sounding E55. This time the drag racing is against Mercedes’ arch nemesis: BMW. Specifically an E92 M3.
It’s V8 vs. V8. Mano a mano. It’s Marvel vs. DC. I’ll tell you right now, though, the Mercedes sounds miles better than the high-strung V8 of the BMW. It sounds dirtier, more gritty, more industrial … which means it sounds awesome.
