Mercedes Uses G-Class to Inspire Us to Do More

Mercedes Benz Blink

Mercedes-Benz certainly has found an interesting way to subtly sell buyers on the G-Class. Of course, that’s a pretty easy pitch for most here.

Still, it doesn’t mean that we can’t appreciate a great marketing campaign for the SUV, as highlighted in the carmaker’s original short film called “Blink,” which features BASE Jumper Simon Guthrie leaping off a cliff in New Zealand.

In actuality, the three-minute clip below is really more about enjoying life to the fullest, which Guthrie is certainly qualified to speak about, given his reputation for living life on the edge both figuratively and literally. That said, we suspect that the average G-Wagon owner would be content with a little off-roading and then call it a day.

Although, at some point, it is a good idea to ask yourself if you’re truly experiencing life or just passing through it. Perhaps that’s why you buy a G-Wagon in the first place?
