Mercedes’ Concept Style Coupe Leaked Ahead of Bejing

Another auto show, another leaked reveal. This time it’s Mercedes’ small coupe that’s found it’s way onto the net. Thank goodness for that too, because it is quite the looker.

Probably the most striking part of the car is the styling. It’s essentially a smaller version of the CLS, which isn’t a bad thing. You can’t really talk about the “lines” on a car like this, because it doesn’t really have them. Instead, flowing sheet metal ensures that the surface of the car is nearly never flat.

The word on the street is that the new coupe will feature a 2.0L
turbo four cylinder motor with a seven speed dual clutch transmission.
If the thought of a four cylinder coupe from Mercedes sounds familiar,
it’s because they’ve gone down a similar path before with the C230
kompressor and the CLC-Class.

Swoopy styling and turbo power
aside, the car will likely be based on the same platform as the new
A-Class and B-Class. That also means that it’ll likely be front-wheel
drive, although, we’re holding out for an AWD model. If not, we’ll just hold out for the AMG edition.
