Who Needs a Home When You Can Have a Mercedes Benz Roadtrek CS?

Mercedes Benz is widely known for being the first-to-market with cutting-edge technology and mind-blowing features like night-vision and aroma therapy. But, what about a toilet or a stove?

Sadly, the range-topping S600 Maybach has a built-in champagne cooler, but no toilet, sink, stove, or even a bed. But there is one Mercedes that does, and like every other Benz, it will set you back a pretty penny. Actually, 13 million of them to be precise.

In case you suck at math, that’s $130,000 bucks, or about twice as much as a similar RAM or Ford based camper, and about 30k less than a proper Airstream. This Mercedes Roadtrek CS is certainly a step up from its economy segment-mates though. On top of all those amenities, she sports a powerful 188 horsepower, 325 lb-ft of torque, 6-cylinder diesel engine that sends its power to the rear wheels via a 5-speed transmission. (Why a 5 speed, though?)

Besides the hefty powertrain, the Roadtrek CS packs a 26.6 gallon fresh-water tank, an on-demand water heater, a propane-powered stove, and because we all love pizza rolls — a microwave! That being said, this is no Winnebago, so prioritizing is important, and versatility is everything. That’s why the “dining” table turns into a bed, and the “living room” into a spare bedroom.

As you can tell, the Mercedes Benz Roadtrek CS has about all you’ll need for a pretty decent vacation and then some. Heck, it may even make more sense than renting an apartment in NYC or L.A, and it’s probably more spacious too.

This bad boy may not be for everyone, but I certainly hope it talks to you!
