Mercedes-Benz is moving one step closer to providing customers with a car that can practically serve as a portable work-station. Although, with this technology, you’ll still want to keep both hands on the wheel.

The new tech feature, known as “In Car Office,” enables Mercedes owners to integrate Microsoft Exchange support features — like work calendars — into their vehicles, allowing drivers to catch up on their to-do list when on the move.

For example, if someone has an important call on their schedule when driving, “In Car Office” will remind the driver of the need to make the call, as highlighted in a Digital Trends report. The system is also capable of reminding a driver of the places he or she needs to go with the ability to pre-populate the car’s navigation system with information from the calendar.

Look for “In Car Office” to make its debut in Mercedes vehicles by the first half of 2017. Of course, I imagine there are some who might still prefer listening to music instead.
