The Perfect Car Is for Sale: 2008 Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon

Can you name a car that’s better than the E63 AMG wagon? Probably not. Because if it’s faster, then you give up practicality; if it has more cargo room, then you give up speed; and if it’s less expensive, then you get a car for peasants. In the U.S., we never had an M5 wagon, so you don’t even get that option. What you have here is, quite literally one of the most versatile, practical, and reasonable cars in existence.

For sale, by one of our own MB World members, is this exquisite example of a 2008 E63 AMG wagon. With only 66k on the clock, and being offered for $34,900, it may provide the best value for dollar that you can get anywhere. There’s no fault in it being the early version of the Mercedes-Benz M156, as it still propels the long-roof forward with 507 horsepower and 465 lb/ft of torque. It’s not like anything for that price range is going to give it a run for pinks any time soon.

There’s only one down side, which is also an up-side: with only 153 built, you’re not going to find one like this for sale any time soon. My advice? Buy it now.
