The Pullman is a Bit Too Pulled, Man

Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman (1)

For a while now, we’ve known Mercedes was building a one-off limousine that would probably carry the Pullman name. Allegedly leaked images from a patent now show what the super limo may look like … essentially a terribly stretched S-Class.

I’m sorry, but the supposed price of this car is going to be around a million dollars. That’s a million dollars with a pinky finger to the corner of the mouth. What a shame because it looks like every other limo that starts off life as a normal car.

In other words, it looks terrible.

Mercedes, you build amazingly awesome cars. They have grace, they have attitude, but most of all, they look like quality products. This just looks awful.

The middle section between the doors looks like you gave the project to a group of high school students and then decided to go with it because you were out of time. What happened to the wonderful styling of the Mercedes Grosser?

Most likely this car will likely debut later this year, and will likely debut along with a longer S-Class dubbed the Maybach to bring back the beleaguered nameplate that ultimately failed. Epically.

The Pullman will stretch to around 21 feet long, and it will use a version of the twin-turbo V12 that already resides under the hood of the S-Class. Mercedes has been pretty hush about the entire car, but with an asking price of around a million dollars, configuration and customization will definitely be outrageous for the car. If these pictures are real, please Mercedes, go back to the design, look at the Grosser, and then look at it again because this just looks terrible.
