Obviously, 600 horsepower isn’t good enough. When you have people dropping twin-turbos on Lamborghinis and hitting 260 mph in a mile, a regular old V8 just doesn’t cut it. No, what you need is a Mercedes that craps fire and has a hunger for human flesh.
Which, incidentally, is exactly what we have here.
The video is of a dyno run, which, normally, is a pretty pedestrian affair. Understandably, they had the tune running a little bit rich on the overrun. They also put a person in the trunk to help it get traction. Nope. Nothing could possibly go wrong.
