SLS AMG with Akrapovič Exhaust — Heaven’s Official Soundtrack

If you’re into the idea of passing through the pearly gates, you probably have a concept of how you would like to cross through them. One category of people I know would like to enter them while being greeted by the smiling faces of friends and family. Another category of people I know would prefer to enter Heaven in a ball of fire with a middle finger in the air. As different as the two categories are, I’m sure most people in both groups would agree it would be delightful to hear the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG’s 6.2-liter V8 huffing and puffing through Akrapovič exhaust as they step (or fly) past the gates to Heaven. Perhaps the fire people would even trade their ball of flames for an SLS AMG … there no law against driving into Heaven.

For this week’s AMG Monday Morning Wake-Up Call, you’ll be treated to sounds that appeal to both the family enthusiasts, and the middle-finger enthusiasts … the Nürburgring will serve as the backdrop for all the aural ecstasy.

According to the video’s creator, “BugattiF430“, the SLS AMG’s Akrapovič exhaust system weighs 27 pounds less than the stock exhaust. Additionally, the freer-flowing system is said to add 12 horsepower and 10 lb-ft of torque.
