Spied GLC 63 AMG Produces Some Epic Sounds

GLC63 AMG

In terms of pre-production camouflage, this GLC 63 AMG bears practically none. Which is fine by us. A closer look at details once shrouded includes AMG’s signature up-turned lower grille. The rear of the car remains fairly similar to the GLE45 AMG. Obviously, the biggest differences between the GLC 45 and GLC 63 will be found under the hood. In the 63, a 4.0 liter V8 twin turbo motor lurks under there, and packs the typical AMG audio punch.

With the previous generation (nee GLK) not having an AMG version at all, the pair of GLC AMGs will now add yet more options for folks who love all things Affalterbach. With the GLC and C-class based off the same platform, we can assume some of the specs that’ll be included in the small crossover. The C-class’s 503 horsepower are expected to remain, though the penalty of a bit of additional weight will lead to slightly slower acceleration times. Dynamically it won’t be as sharp as the C63, but should be on-par with other competitors like the Porsche Macan.
