Spy Shots: AMG S-class Coupe

Mercedes-Benz is already hard at work on development of the S-Class Coupe, the car that will replace the CL-Class and that was previewed as a concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. According to our sources
true, this particular prototype has the singing voice of an AMG. Power should come from AMG’s 5.5-litre, twin-turbo V8, despite claims of it being near death. While it produces 577 horsepower in the S63 AMG, insiders claim it’ll get a small bump to 585 horsepower, which contradicts previous reports. Performance should be AMG-worthy, with an expected sprint to 100 km/h taking around four seconds.
