Our spies secured another group of photos of the upcoming Mercedes GT AMG, previously known as the SLC or “baby SLS”. Reportedly code-named the C190, the prototype comes with thinner camouflage this time and appears to be heavily influenced by the SLS supercar. Notable styling highlights include a long hood, conventional doors and a sporty rear end with a dual exhaust system.

Most interesting though, are the cars it’s out testing with. There’s the full-size SLS, of course, which serves as a kind of general performance benchmark considering they share a similar platform. The Porsche 991 Turbo S, on the other hand, shares a similar wheel base to this new Benz. Though, it likely packs much more power than they’re planning to drop into the GT AMG… Unless they’re also testing the Black Series.

Engine options remain unconfirmed but previous reports have indicated the model could be powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 that develops approximately 485 hp. There have also been rumors about a range-topping Black Series variant which could produce as much as 585 hp. The sports car is expected to be launched in 2015 and cost roughly 110.000 Euros.
