TDI-Tuning Is Ready to Tune Your AMGs
By now, everyone is familiar with Brabus, and Renntech, and many of the other tuning shops that specialize in modifying everyone’s favorite AMGs. But what about TDI-Tuning, have you heard of them?
If not, then you definitely should go look them up, because for the money, TDI is the cheapest way to make more horsepower.
According to TDI-Tuning, for their strictly diesel range, power can be increased anywhere between 80-120 horsepower. The company’s own E350 BlueTec went from 248 to 312 horsepower with just their new tuning box. That’s a massively impressive jump in overall horsepower.
Now most of their customer base are still in the diesel range, but TDI-Tuning is branching off into gasoline powered cars as well. Rather than starting with cheap Toyota’s or lesser sports cars, TDI-Tuning is going straight for the big leagues of AMG.
Right now, the company has serviced a few AMGs, with one of their C63 customers hitting 181mph after just a new tuning box on a runway. And with the new lineup of hot-vee engines Mercedes is pumping out, engines that have more similar tuning to the diesels, what TDI-Tuning is coming up with is sure to be astounding.
