The Popemobile is, essentially, an ML that has been transformed into a rolling, bullet-proof, fishbowl. Of course, they only use this rolling glass cage for public appearances. Presumably, when Pope Benedict wants to duck out of the Vatican quickly to grab a Panini or something, he takes something a little bit more discreet.
