Do you fancy a massive, capable, and extreme truck? You’ll be surprised to know that Mercedes has the right vehicle for you. That’s right, the versatile brand of Sprinter vans by Mercedes Benz has released their newest creation, and unlike most concepts—you can buy this one today.

We had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the “Sprinter Extreme Concept” at the Chicago Auto Show, or as I call it, the Jurassic Park Sprinter. It’s long, it’s tall, and with its heavy-duty 3500 chassis, it’s also extremely capable on and off the road. Measuring a whopping 20-feet in length and nearly 8-feet in height, this Extreme Sprinter is bound to please heavy-work and leisure owners alike.

Outfitted by renowned Mercedes tuner, Renntech, this Sprinter goes from mild-to-wild courtesy of a suspension-lift, G-Class inspired beadlock wheels, and perhaps the most obvious—massive off-road tires. Aside from such performance modifications, the exterior is also taken to the extreme with the addition of custom fenders, vertical exhaust stacks, a custom roof rack, and a plethora of oversized off-road lights.

Whether you’re looking to haul payloads for work or tow a trailer full of “weekend toys”, the Extreme Sprinter’s payload and towing capacity of 6,400-pounds and 7,500-pounds will hardly break a sweat. In addition, the 4-cylinder BlueTEC diesel engine paired to a Mercedes 7-speed 7G-Tronic transmission delivers the necessary low-end torque to all four rear tires.

So the real question is, where would you take this bad boy?
