Holy schnikes! This is what a 2015 Mercedes AMG C63 review video should look like. Rather than a long and drawn out piece — like how Chris Harris covered the new engine, the revised transmission, and all the new bits that make the car go faster — this review from CAR magazine is just noise, emotion, and feeling all wrapped up into one tight little package. It focuses on raw experience and exciting visuals.
It feels very Top Gear in a way. And I love it.
Just like most of the other reviews you have seen, this is mostly track time from the Mercedes press event at Portimao race circuit in Portugal. It’s the same attractive blue C63 AMG S that you have seen in every video before, but still this feels fresh and fun. It makes me want to buy the damned car.
Just watch it. It is less than 4 minutes long, and it will likely be the best thing you’ll see all day.
