Vath’s Version of the E63 AMG S-Model is Insane

I’ve never thought that the 577 horsepower pumped out by the E63 AMG S-Model is not enough. Apparently, the guys over at Vath tuning have, and figure the car needs a 28-percent boost. That means the wagon you see here, known as the V63RS Export, is now generating a ridiculous 740 horsepower and 747 pound-feet of torque.

Vath achieves those insane numbers through a kit that costs about $30,000. It includes a modified ECU, a larger pair of turbochargers, and a full downpipe and custom exhaust. The package also allows the car to push past its electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. Vath claims that with the modifications, and the governor removed, the wagon can now get up to a staggering 218.

That’s an astonishing number, especially for a family wagon.

Vath also offers a whole series of exterior modifications for the E63. However, in my opinion, it would be fun just to debadge the entire car and turn it into a complete sleeper. Imagine the look on Ferrari owners faces when you blow their doors off.
