Dyno-ing Weistec Stage 3 C63 AMG Will Make Your Earlobes Tingle

The senses are an interesting study in how the human body works as an interconnected whole. Hearing a particular note or sound, for example, can send a chill shuddering through your limbs. Certain exhausts tend to have that effect. If this doesn’t sound familiar, take this Weistec-tuned Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG out for a run.

Originally specced at 451 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, this C63 now runs at 769 horsepower and 677 lb-ft. Just a slight upgrade.

The ridiculous changes come from a Weistec Stage 3 supercharger, a Weistec long-tube exhaust, a Weistec Bulletproof transmission, and 91 octane fuel. Weistec claims the exhaust, which opens up air flow, could provide 90-plus wheel horsepower gains and costs $4,495. The supercharger will set you back an additional $15,780.

It’s not cheap, but for that kind of power and this kind of sound, it might be worth it. Just watch this clip and you’ll understand.
