Weistec Tunes the New CLA45 AMG
The new CLA45, GLA45, and A45 AMGs are perhaps some of the best bargains to ever come out of AMG and Mercedes. With massively turbocharged four cylinder engines and AWD to keep everything planted, the new cars are causing a bit of a whirlwind in the small performance car market. However, that doesn’t mean that tuners aren’t ready and waiting to boost the already ridiculous levels of performance these cars offer.
Enter Weistec, they are some of the best known Mercedes and AMG tuners on the planet, and you know that they are going to turn these cars into something straight up ridiculous. According to the company, their new package for the AMG cars is now available. And they’re making some pretty wild claims.
Weistec states that with just a downpipe, midpipe, blow off valve, new heat shield, and an ECU tune, the 2.0L turbocharged engine goes from fast to downright scary. We’re talking about 401 horsepower at the wheels, and 425lb-ft of torque at the wheels as well.
