This news from the forum got Manuel Carrillo III and I in a bit of a debate. He came across these pictures and asked if I wanted to write this up as “How to Redneck Your AMG”. We’re talking about the white-letter tires on this C63.

I said, “Sure,” but that I actually like the look of the letters. Really, the problem here is that the car doesn’t suit the tires. That might sound weird, but let me explain. The car in the photos doesn’t look enough like a racecar, which is where we see lettering on tires. This specific car needs to be lowered with a widebody kit, and the rims need to be changed out for something a bit darker in color. Add all that, and the white lettering would look fantastic.

Take a peek at a few I found that look more like racecars.

See what I mean? White (or yellow) lettering looks way better on a car prepped for it than just a stock car. My personal favorite is this one from the guys over at Liberty Walk.
