Brabus Offers Powerful C-Class AMG, Which Is Not a C63 AMG

Because the world needed another Mercedes Benz C-Class AMG that is not the legit C63, Brabus stepped up to the plate and said, “Here is another C-Class AMG that is not a C63!”

In a day and age where Porsche makes over 20 variations of the 911, Mercedes has put the pedal to the metal and is on their way to create various “AMG” versions of the C-Class. Aside from the real C-Class AMG—that is.

Yes, I’m fully aware this isn’t technically a factory model, as it’s made by the brutes at Brabus. Still, how many upgrades really need to be designed for the C450 AMG before it makes more sense to buy the real AMG. Which is, once again, the C63 AMG.

All this C-Class AMG madness may not make any sense, but what does make sense is the exterior treatment that Brabus designed for the C450 AMG. The aggressive carbon fiber front lip, trunk deck lip spoiler, and rear diffuser give this baby AMG an even more menacing look than its big brother. While the 19-inch wheels, quad-tailpipe exhaust, and Brabus insignia in place of the three-pointed star wrap up the muscular look that Brabus is known for.

Under the hood, the Brabus PowerXtra B30-410 ECU adds a hefty 45-horsepower bump to the stock motor for a total of 405 hp, which is only 64 hp away from the C63, and 98 hp from the killer C63 S.

In the end, this is great news if you already have a C450 AMG to call your own, but if you don’t, put on your big boy pants and get the whole enchilada (or Bratwurst)—the C63 AMG.
